Beaches in Valencia City
In Valencia city we are lucky to have three beaches together. Las Arenas – La Malvarrosa – La Patacona.
The beach of Las Arenas is one of the most traditional places in Valencia. It was the meeting point of the Valencian bourgeoisie at the end of the 19th-century. Famous people, such as Orson Welles or Ernest Hemingway, visited her attracted by her beauty and gastronomy. Other famous Valencians, such as the painter Sorolla and the writer Blasco Ibáñez were regular visitors. Since then, Las Arenas has been a place to meet and celebrate with friends and family.
Today, the beach of Las Arenas and Malvarrosa, offer modern restaurants and bars, leisure areas and a long promenade that unites them.
Next to the beach of Malvarrosa, and separated by a bridge, is the Patacona Beach. With fine sand and a wide promenade, it also houses restaurants, beach bars and cafés. With 1051 meters and 110 meters of average width. It offers surveillance services, Red Cross, tourist office, first aid and first aid, public WC and parking.
One of its main attractions is the promenade; spacious and located on the beach. Very popular on weekends, it is common to see people walking or practicing sports. The gastronomic offer of the area is very wide. In summer, you can also enjoy several chiringuitos located on the beach.
It is the best option to enjoy the outdoors with its delicious cuisine throughout the year.It has lifeguard stations and an area adapted for the bathroom of people with reduced mobility. It usually hosts numerous activities.

Option 1: Lunch and Beach
Book a table around 14.30, 2 days in advance in MARINA BEACH CLUB. Food is good in both restaurants EL PORTET and the other one.
You can rent a bed by the pool. Check the prices.( 50€. 35€ of food&drinks and 15€ for the bed)
11:00 To get there, Take a taxi from the villa direct to MARINA BEACH CLUB. (aprox. 28€/each taxi).
11:00 – 14:00 If you dont want to rent a bed. You can stay at the beach in front till lunch time comes.
14:30 Lunch time. Remember to get a little bag with clothes and fresh stuff, there are some showers in the MBC to get fresh after the beach.
14:30 – 18:00 Have lunch, relax, drink a cocktail, talk, laugh, live, and…
18:00 – 4.00 specially weekends A DJ starts playing and the outdoor terrace becomes a CLUB… Till 4.00 am. 🙂
Option 2: Lunch and Beach
1 day in advance, book a table at 14.00 in LA MAS BONITA (Patacona Beach). Easy food and nice place.
As you are going to the beach, you may wanna get a bag with some personal things and a beach towel.
From end of may till middle of september, in PATACONA BEACH you will find bars by the beach on the sand. Choose one, rent some beds and enjoy!
